Rules for the BCAClub Water
The North East Byelaws for the River Tees – from the Environmental Agency please check for current rules for the River.
The BCAClub follow most of the North East Byelaws which is provided by the Environmental Agency.
However the club water also has a selected set of rules which overrules these Byelaws.
1. No Keepnets,
2. Only knotless landing nets to be used,
3. Only lead substitutes may be used on the water,
4. No fishing within 25 yards above or 100 yards below Warren’s Dam after 31st August.
5. No gaffs only allowed nets
6. We have our own size limits on the River Tees is nine inches and the River Greta is seven inches.
